If you are looking to rent a cottage with a pool near Almaty for the summer, Country House is a great choice. The pool sits in a green yard overlooking the slopes: cool off after a hot day, then move to the sauna or the fire pit in the evening.

This is not a noisy party venue but a place for a quiet family stay: water and a green yard for the kids, silence, mountain air and stars in the evening for the grown-ups.

When the pool is open

The pool is open in the warm season — roughly late spring to early autumn, depending on the weather. It's best to confirm exact dates and water temperature in advance on WhatsApp. In cooler months the focus shifts to the sauna and fire pit.

To be honest: it's not a water park. The pool is small, about 1 m deep, and in the mountain climate the water warms up to ~22 °C at most — refreshing on a hot day rather than bath-warm. Children swim under adult supervision only.

Daily rental: how it works

The cottage is rented by the night — come for one night, a weekend or longer. Check-in from 15:00, checkout by 12:00; early check-in and late checkout can be arranged in advance, free of charge when possible. For direct bookings via WhatsApp — 50% prepayment by invoice, the rest on arrival in cash or by transfer; free cancellation up to 5 days before check-in, and date changes are free subject to availability.

Almaty, Medeu district, Stroitel 69 — at 1500 m by Ile-Alatau Park, at the Kok-Zhailyau trailhead. About 25–35 minutes from the city centre by Yandex Go taxi.

A summer day by the pool

The day starts with birdsong instead of city noise. In the afternoon — a swim in the pool, breakfast on the terrace with mountain views, and an easy walk to the start of the Kok-Zhailyau trail, which begins right at the door. Towards evening it's time to fire up the sauna and set the table by the fire pit. When it gets dark, a sky full of stars opens above the yard — something you rarely see in the city.

Who the cottage is for

This home is made for families with children and couples who want a calm break in nature near Almaty. The pool and green yard are safe and comfortable for kids, while the silence and privacy matter to adults. We deliberately do not take large noisy groups or host corporate parties — so every guest gets what they came to the mountains for: peace and a reset.
